# Set up seminar registration and attendee forms

> Create a paid or free seminar, build a seminar registration form, add venue or online joining details, and configure reminders.

Use **Seminar** for a talk, presentation, or educational session. Its starting offer is one paid **Seminar Ticket**. You can switch to Free RSVP or configure online attendance in the event editor.

## Template starting point

| Setting | Initial choice |
| - | - |
| Schedule | One day |
| Admission | Paid tickets |
| First offer | Seminar Ticket · suggested price 25 in your site’s currency |
| Capacity | 100 |
| Attendees choose a time | Not enabled |

These are editable suggestions, not recommended prices or venue limits. Replace the dates, price, and capacity with your own. See [how onboarding works](./overview#complete-onboarding).

## Choose the onboarding answers

Open **Create Event** in the selected workspace.

1. Select **Seminar** and enter a recognizable session title.
2. Set **One day**, start, and end. Choose a repeating schedule if the same seminar runs regularly.
3. Set the price and capacity, or switch to **Free RSVP**. Keep a draft with **Continue later** while completing the form and joining instructions.

<Note>**Create my event** may publish immediately when the requirements are met. Use **Continue later** to finish setup as a draft. Review any plan or publishing message before sharing the event.</Note>

## Finish the event settings

| Where to go | What to configure |
| - | - |
| **Event Details** | Add the speaker, topic, intended audience, and timezone; onboarding does not write the event description. |
| **Venue & Location** | Choose the physical venue or configure online joining details. Follow [venue setup](/event-management/venuelocation). |
| **Additional Info** | Build your [seminar registration form](/event-management/additional-information) with company, role, or an optional advance-question field. |
| **Email Communication** | Review confirmation, reminder, and post-event feedback messages. |
| **Analytics** | Use [attendance](/analytics/check-in-analytics) and [email reports](/analytics/email-analytics) to review participation and delivery. |

## Online seminars need joining information

Selecting Seminar does not create a meeting or enable online attendance by itself. Set the online location in the editor, and use the [Zoom integration guide](/integrations/zoom) if Zoom is your chosen service. Check how registered attendees receive the joining information. If attendees must choose and reserve several different sessions, configure those through [event add-ons](/event-management/event-add-ons).

## Check the attendee experience

* Complete the seminar form and check that answers are attached to the attendee.
* Verify the venue or online joining details in the confirmation and reminder.
* Check that the displayed timezone and admission time match the intended session.

Review the event’s saved status and [publish/share controls](/event-management/manage-events) when it is ready. Return to [all event types](./overview) to compare starting points.
