Start with one event and a ticket offer your guests can understand. You can add more features after the booking flow works.
First connect your website or store. For Shopify, follow the Shopify quickstart, which includes product publishing and theme setup in the right order.

1. Open the right workspace and create an event

In the Ticket Spot dashboard, select your site from the workspace menu and open Events → Create Event. A workspace holds that site’s events, settings, and design. Choose a template in What are you hosting?, or choose Start from scratch. Use the event-type guides for the starting choices that match a class, tour, concert, or other activity. In guided setup, use Continue later to create a draft while you finish the details. Create my event can publish as soon as its requirements are met. In the full editor, enter the required title and description and select Create Event to save the initial draft.

2. Set the details guests need

Open Manage event on the saved event. Complete these essentials: If you offer several ticket types for one space, check shared capacity and ticket limits. Assigned seating also needs a published seating chart with ticket categories. The full event editor guide explains each step and why some controls may be hidden.

3. Confirm how guests will pay

For paid tickets, use the payment setup for your selling route. Shopify product purchases use Shopify checkout and its payment settings. Other platforms and embedded ticket checkout have their own applicable setup; follow your website guide and payment workflow. Check that your plan supports the ticket offer and that the saved ticket price is correct. For free RSVP, verify that checkout shows no charge.

4. Prepare confirmation and publish on your website

Review confirmation emails and any essential registration questions. Check that the venue or joining instructions will reach your guests. You can also add your logo and colors. Save the event and use its applicable publish controls. Check the resulting event status. Then complete your website guide’s installation or storefront steps: Saving an event, publishing it in Ticket Spot, and making it available on a connected website are separate checks.

5. Complete a booking before you share

Open the actual public website as a visitor, including on a phone. Select the date and tickets, complete a registration or purchase, and check the confirmation, delivered tickets, and attendee record in Ticket Spot. Use the launch checklist to verify the complete journey. Once it passes, share the public event or storefront link you tested.

Choose your next step

Add the features your event needs: recurring sessions, waitlists, memberships, or event add-ons. Before guests arrive, prepare your team and check-in.
