Use Free RSVP when you want people to register without an admission charge. The template starts as one RSVP event with a suggested capacity of 100. Event capacity, ticket inventory, and your account allowances are separate controls.

Template starting point

These are editable suggestions, not recommended prices or venue limits. Replace the dates, price, and capacity with your own. See how onboarding works.

Choose the onboarding answers

Open Create Event in the selected workspace.
  1. Choose Browse more templates → Advanced → Free RSVP, then name the event.
  2. Set the date/time or choose the appropriate recurring schedule.
  3. Keep Free RSVP and enter the maximum attendance under How many people can come? Leave it blank only when there should be no event-wide cap.
Create my event may publish immediately when the requirements are met. Use Continue later to finish setup as a draft. Review any plan or publishing message before sharing the event.

Free RSVP, a free ticket, or no registration

Choose the experience you need. RSVP/simple registration is the onboarding choice here. A free ticket under Sell Tickets keeps a ticket-selection workflow without an admission price. Display Only shows an event without registration. These are separate Event Setup choices; review the public result after changing them. A zero admission charge does not mean your account has unlimited plan usage.

Check the attendee experience

  • Submit the form and verify that no admission payment is requested.
  • Check required fields, attendee records, and confirmation content.
  • Test the intended capacity or waitlist behavior before sharing the event.
Review the event’s saved status and publish/share controls when it is ready. Return to all event types to compare starting points.
