Use Assigned Seating when attendees must choose a specific seat, table, or other bookable place. The template starts with paid Adult Ticket admission and seating enabled. It does not create a chart, so the event remains a draft after onboarding.

Template starting point

These are editable suggestions, not recommended prices or venue limits. Replace the dates, price, and capacity with your own. See how onboarding works.

Seats, categories, and tickets

A category groups seats; a ticket supplies the price and purchase rules. Several ticket types can share one category, such as Adult and Child. Check the price selected for each seat in the buyer summary. Selected seats are held temporarily; a seat selection by itself is not a completed booking. Follow buyer seat selection for hold duration, expired selections, and mobile map behavior. For a series, review seating on every occurrence; availability is separate per date/time. The onboarding day-pass choices are not offered with Assigned seating. Configure an appropriate occurrence and ticket structure in the full editor rather than assuming those day-pass options apply to a seated event.

Check the attendee experience

  • Choose a seat from each category and verify the offered ticket prices.
  • Check the exact seat labels, quantities, and total before payment, including mobile checkout.
  • For repeated dates, check independent availability and the correct date on the ticket.
