Use Comedy Show for admission to a performance you organize. It starts as one paid general-admission event. A ticket type named for a table or section does not create reserved seating by itself.

Template starting point

These are editable suggestions, not recommended prices or venue limits. Replace the dates, price, and capacity with your own. See how onboarding works.

Choose the onboarding answers

Open Create Event in the selected workspace.
  1. Select Comedy Show, enter the show title, and set the performance date/time.
  2. Keep Paid tickets for open seating or choose Assigned seating for a mapped room.
  3. Replace the suggested price and capacity. Use Continue later if you need to finish the seating map or different offers in draft.
Create my event may publish immediately when the requirements are met. Use Continue later to finish setup as a draft. Review any plan or publishing message before sharing the event.

Early and late shows

If you run two performances on the same date, configure them as distinct selectable sessions or occurrences in Dates & Times. Check each show’s capacity and ticket scope. The Comedy Show onboarding template does not offer the tour-specific time-slot question; finish that schedule in the full editor. For reserved seats, each occurrence’s availability must be verified separately.

Check the attendee experience

  • Choose the early and late show separately and verify the date/time on each booking.
  • Check the price and admission scope for every ticket tier.
  • Confirm the reserved seat or open-seating instructions and the allowed check-in window.
Review the event’s saved status and publish/share controls when it is ready. Return to all event types to compare starting points.
